A life script is another way of describing the meaning we attribute to the events that happen to us. It is how you interpret the meaning of your life. We grow up exposed to ideas that were formed from our parents or guardians which can also include friends. We become familiar with how the world operates and from the generation before us what should be the norm but what is the norm? Most of us were told to get a good government job, become successful, married with 2.5 kids and a house with a white fence. Knowing where you are in your life and what makes you happy or not, believe it or not, you do get to choose your fate. So you have to ask yourself, what do you need to do to change the ending of your story?

Inspired by Habekah 2:2 which says to write the vision and make it plain. In order for you to see where you are going you have to know where you are going. How we do that is by holding ourselves accountable through pen and paper. Through vision boards. Get to a place where you have daily reminders of obtainable goals and watch your small goals become larger goals until your life starts to reflect where you want to be.

Having conversations with women who don't feel like they have had the sister support they needed from others, this brand will always be for you. This is why this movement is so important.

My motto is "Show up for tomorrow". Years ago God gave me a vision to use my journey to help change peoples lives. I didn't know how or why He was calling me because I felt like my life was a mess. He knew in the midst of my circumstances there was a testimony and a greater purpose to my life. Here I was thinking, I'm terrified to speak to people because by nature I am an introvert. I had to learn it was deeper than speaking. I had to learn to get out of my way and realize this was not about me. God was trying to elevate me while elevating others. I wrote three inspirational books and my first novel. I opened up my own fashion business. Inspired by all those I've come across in the journey, God was taking little ol' me into unchartered territories being mixed in the crowed with A list celebrities, Kerry Washington, Alisha Keys, Halle Berry, Eartha Kitt and fashion icon, Tommy Hilfiger. I sat on the front row of New York fashion week runways. I found myself invited to celebrity homes. I've done several speaking engagements and spoke to millions of listeners on the radio. This was me coming from a Corporate job that I loved, but the environment was toxic to creating my own lane. Never would I have thought my journey would take me this far but you have to believe your journey has been planned for you before your time. So now I find myself with you. My journey planned to become your journey. We, being us, being in this together.
So as I look back over my life, I had to realize that every time I thought I was being rejected from something, I was actually being redirected to something greater. Take life lessons just as they are and don't be discouraged by them. Learn to be grateful where you stand knowing you are the author of your destiny and your legacy.
